2. Make sure have a Facebook business page

  • What's this for? In order for a third party application, like Shout, to connect to your Facebook account, you'll need to create a free Facebook business page.  The Facebook page allows third parties, like Shout, to access and manage your Facebook Messenger messages.

3. Connect your Facebook business page to Shout

  • Navigate to the Facebook Services page in Shout Settings here.
  • Click the "Connect a Facebook Page" button.
  • Login to Facebook and select the Instagram pages you'd like to connect. Click "Next".
  • Select the Facebook pages you'd like to connect and click "Next".
  • Ensure that all permissions are marked as "Yes" and click "Done".
  • Click "OK" under the confirmation message that says "You've now linked Shout to Facebook".
  • Click "Connect" in the modal on the Shout settings page.
